The booster club
Accounting
Every dollar raised gets published here with what it bought. We are asking local businesses for money while our exempt status is still pending — this page is how we earn that.

Treasurer's reports
The first report goes up after the first board meeting, and one follows every meeting after that. Until then the number above is the whole picture — the club has no history to publish yet.
How we handle money
- Payments run through Zeffy, which takes no platform or card fee from the club — what you give us, we get. Zeffy funds itself by asking you for an optional tip at checkout, which you can set to zero without affecting your gift to us.
- Two signatures on the account. Cash at events is counted by two people and recorded.
- We publish totals by category, not by family. Sponsorship attaches to a weight class, never to a named wrestler.
- Financial assistance is need-based and decided by the board. It is never earned by fundraising or volunteer hours.
Questions about the accounts are welcome and go straight to the treasurer.

Expense reimbursement
Bought something for the team out of your own pocket? Send it here with the receipt and the treasurer pays it back.
Every reimbursement needs two signatures — the treasurer plus one other officer. That is in the bylaws and it protects whoever is handling the money as much as it protects the club.
Reimbursements are paid at the next board meeting, so allow up to a month.
Send a claimVendor tax-exempt certificate
For a vendor who asks for it at the till, so the club is not charged sales tax on purchases for the program.
Not available yet. Texas sales-tax exemption is a separate application from the club's federal status, and it has not been granted — so there is no certificate to give you. Pay the tax for now and keep the receipt.
